Which product is Rakesh Nayak is the vice president of Altum’s Professional Services group. Rakesh joined Altum in 2004 with a dream to make an impact in a smaller, yet dynamic, company environment. Since then, Altum has seen many positive changes and addressed many growing pains. He is well known for speaking his mind and bringing the same amount of passion and intensity to his job today as he did on his first day with the company. He takes pride in his team’s “client first” mindset that drives team members to go that extra mile for the client.
Rakesh oversees the day-to-day operations of the business group, including account development and management, financial and resource management, recruiting and client relationships. He provides direction and support to Altum's program and project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and under budget, while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction for all delivered products and services. Rakesh works closely with the project teams and reports directly to the CEO to maintain the strategic direction of the business group in line with that of the company. In addition to these responsibilities, he assists with the operational structure of the consulting group within the company and provides support to the sales and product development groups.
Rakesh led the project team that received the NIH Award of Merits in 2006 and 2007 and the Top 20 nomination by Excellence.gov. Rakesh is a gadget freak and loves to work on electronics projects. He has a strong interest in international politics, plays cricket and golf and has a healthy appetite for good food.
