Clinical Center (Building 10) Medical Board Room (Room 2C116)

THE PROGRAM: The book “The Genius Within: Discovering the Intelligence of Every Living Thing” asks us to let go of brain-worship and look at the incredible problem-solving skills of viruses, ants, and other lowly creatures (noncerebral intelligence). Dr. Vertosick’s perspective on noncerebral intelligence from his vantage point as a neurosurgeon allows him to draw comparisons that others might miss.
