The Program

REVIEW: If you are interested in human freedom, public policy and human welfare you are likely to appreciate this book.  The material is based on behavioral economics and is aimed at helping us to get our minds and our society working better. It shows how to use recent behavioral research to help individuals, government agencies, companies and charities make better decisions. Examples as far afield as urinals, 401(k) plans, organ donations and marriage are presented.  The book demonstrates how to steer people toward better health, sounder investments, and cleaner environments without depriving them of their inalienable right to make a mess of things if they want to.

MEETING FORMAT:  Free pizza  will be served starting at 5:15 pm.  (Bring your own drinks; cafeteria and drink machines are nearby.) Volunteer speakers will review the entire book and then a group dialogue about the book will follow with everyone present invited to participate.
