Ken Fang - Chief Executive Officer

Ken Fang is Altum's Executive Officer. Altum is a leader in web-based ad hoc query, reporting, and decision support systems for a number of areas including: grants, finance, accounting, human resources, health care, and scientific research. Altum's clients include the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, and Monster.com. Mr. Fang is an active member of the grants and life sciences industry and serves on a number of boards and executive committees including the National Grants Management Association, the National Grants Partnership Vendor and Consultant Group, the National Institutes of Health Biomedical Computing Interest Group, and the George Mason University Bioscience Management Advisory Board.  Prior to Altum, Mr. Fang spent five years at American Management Systems, as a Principal managing federal financial system development projects including the National Park Service, the General Accounting Office, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Fang has been involved in software development for over fifteen years, and has worked for a variety of companies including: International Business Machines, Broderbund Software, D.C. Health and Company, Atmospheric and Environmental Research Company, and the Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Master of Business Administrator degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University, and a certificate in Bioinformatics from Stanford University.


Steve Pinchotti - President and Chief Operating Officer

Steve Pinchotti is Altum’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Pinchotti implements and administers the policies established by the senior leadership at Altum. He supervises the senior staff of the company, implements personnel policies, reviews and adjusts operating budgets, and monitors financial statements. Mr. Pinchotti also meets each one of Altum's clients and works closely with the project teams to ensure Altum provides high quality software solutions and an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. Prior to Altum, Mr. Pinchotti spent four years at American Management Systems leading multiple large-scale implementations of AMS's Momentum product, a federal financial system. He worked with numerous federal agencies including the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, the General Accounting Office, and the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Westminster College.

 

Wendy Papagjika - Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Wendy Papagjika is Altum’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Ms. Papagjika is responsible for all financial aspects of Altum, Inc. including financial statements, budgets, financing, payroll and accounts payable and receivable. She provides the CEO, COO and senior management with financial reports they need to make informed decisions and to shape the strategy of the company. Prior to joining Altum, Ms. Papagjika established and ran her own public accounting firm specializing in individual and corporate income taxes, Quick Books software consulting, corporate financing and payroll tax returns. Ms. Papagjika has 17 years of accounting experience, first in public accounting and later as a CFO for two sister mid-size telecommunications firms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management/Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (1991) and Certified Government Financial Manager (2007). Ms.Papagjika is also a notary in the states of Maryland and Virginia.

 

Luke Dion - Vice President, Grants Management Solutions

Luke Dion is Altum's Vice President of the Grants Management Solutions group. Mr. Dion's unit provides giving organizations with business solutions that meet their specific needs. From clients with tailored requirements to those who can leverage the common practices of the grant making community, the Grants Management Solutions group is able to provide each of its customers with an option that best addresses its values and priorities. Leveraging his strong technical background along with his experience in both financial management as well as grants management systems, Mr. Dion brings nearly 15 years of valuable expertise to his unit. In addition, he continues to serve as the technology leader of the company by ensuring that Altum maintains its reputation for delivering high quality, maintainable software on time, and on budget. Prior to Altum, Mr. Dion spent 5 years with American Management Systems implementing financial solutions for the federal government. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Colgate University, and is currently pursuing his M.B.A. from the University of Vermont.

 

Rakesh Nayak - Vice President, Federal Solutions

Rakesh Nayak is the Vice President of Altum’s Federal practice. Mr. Nayak oversees the day-to-day operations of the Business Unit including business development, financial, resource, and client relationship aspects. Mr. Nayak provides direction and support to Altum's Division Directors to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and under budget while keeping up the level of client satisfaction for all delivered products and services. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Nayak assists with the operational structure of the consulting group within the company. This includes developing, documenting, and maintaining the procedures, processes, and systems needed to deliver projects. Mr. Nayak works closely with the project teams and reports directly to the President to maintain the strategic direction of the Business Unit in line with that of the company. Mr. Nayak has been involved with software development for over 13 years in software engineer and project/program manager capacities. Prior to Altum, Mr. Nayak worked for Pentafour Software, Electronics Data Systems (EDS) and ATPCO. Mr. Nayak holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
