Altum, Inc. Extends Grants Systems Leadership NTIS Partnership makes Altum solution available by subscription

Reston, VA. July 15, 2004 - Altum, Inc., a leader in enterprise grants tracking and reporting systems for the federal government, announced that it has signed an Enterprise partnership agreement with the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), an agency of the United States Department of Commerce, located in Springfield, VA. Altum's grants reporting system, AltumGRS™, is now being offered to federal government agencies on a subscription basis.

Under the terms of this partnership, NTIS will provide the system to any federal agency in a hosted environment. According to Ken Fang, Altum CEO: "Smaller agencies that generally don’t have the IT resources to support these systems can now utilize the same powerful and robust utilities used by major grant makers such as NIH."

"We believe Altum's extensive experience in providing grants management extension systems to the NIH over the past six years will prove to be an asset to the smaller agencies."

At a signing ceremony earlier today, NTIS Associate Director Janice Coe congratulated Altum executives on achieving recognition as a true partner of the federal government.
