Altum, Inc. deploys the automated pay letter module to the Scientific Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)

Reston, VA. September, 2004 - Altum, Inc. has enhanced its grants reporting system, AltumGRS™, to include an automated pay letter module. This enhancement has been implemented at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD). The pay letter module provides an automated method for providing Principal Investigators (PIs) with pay letters upon conclusion of each council round. The module significantly streamlines the previously manual process of printing and mailing letters to each PI. Now PIs will receive an automatic email notification from STARS (NIDCD’s implementation of AltumGRS™) with the necessary administrative information and the council’s decision on the grant.
