Altum Helps the National Library of Medicine Launch a new version of ChemIDplus, the World’s Largest Publicly Available Chemical Database

Reston, VA. November 15, 2004 - Altum Inc. is proud to announce that it has successfully launched a new version of the ChemIDplus website for the National Library of Medicine (NLM). ChemIDplus is the world’s largest free, web-based search system that provides the general public access to over 368,000 chemical compounds, their structures, relevant articles, and related information. This new version provides users advanced searching capabilities. As an example, users can now search on chemical properties such as structure and molecular weight.

NLM has received significant praise for the site. One user mentions, “Your website is extremely helpful.
