Altum Announces the Acquisition
of the Easygrants Grants Management Software
Reston, VA. November
7, 2006 –
In a continuing effort to offer the best products and services to the
philanthropic and government sectors, Altum today announces the acquisition of
the Easygrants suite of grantmaking software. Formerly owned by the Arlington
Group, Easygrants is best-of-breed technology enabling grantors to leverage a
full life-cycle system that creates efficiencies for grantseekers and
grantmakers alike.
Easygrants is the country’s
leading Web-based grantmaking software, facilitating the management of grant
proposals, letters of intent, reviews, awards, and grantee reports in one
central repository, accessible any time via the Web. Easygrants is a
mature and highly extensible solution, is configurable to clients’ unique
workflow requirements and can be used by small and large organizations alike.
Ken Fang, President and CEO
of Altum, said, “we are thrilled to add Easygrants to our growing suite of
products that enable the philanthropic and government community to take
advantage of solutions that create communications, staff workflow, reporting and
financial efficiencies. Easygrants has been a mainstay in the philanthropic
community for a decade, and is trusted by some of the largest granters in the
US. We look forward to harnessing the power of Easygrants and making its robust
feature set available to even more grantmaking organizations in the future.”
Easygrants is currently
deployed to support medical research, private foundations and public grantors.
It offers review capabilities, online contract building and full reporting
capabilities. Its PDQueue software drastically reduces the need for paper inflow
into granting organizations resulting in long-term lower cost of ownership.
