IoEnergy chooses Altum to develop a Energy Price Tracking and Reporting System

ARLINGTON, VA. January 4, 2002 - IoEnergy Inc., (www.ioenergy.com), an electricity and natural gas market information provider, has chosen Altum, Inc. (www.altum.com), to develop a custom energy price tracking and reporting system. This system, called Jupiter, will allow their information gathering experts to enter pertinent market data and provide daily information to their subscribing customers.

The Jupiter system will benefit IoEnergy by:

•  Providing a central system for their information gathering experts to record and analyze their data
•  Reducing time spent on creating spreadsheets and producing reports
•  Allowing power users to easily query the data for more in-depth analysis
•  Creating a flexible, multi-user solution that provides for future enhancements and modifications
