Altum CEO Speaks as a Panelist at BioBridges

WASHINGTON, DC. March 1, 2002 - BioBridges meeting on bio-informatics continued the precedent of strong speakers, a well-known and varied crowd, and lively discussion set by the inaugural event held on January 31st.

Ken Fang, CEO of Altum, Inc., and Tom Haser of Lockheed-Martin were the meeting's featured speakers. Each brought a unique perspective on the industry to the meeting; Mr. Fang commented on the impact and importance of the commercialization of bioinformatics, while Mr. Haser explained Lockheed Martin's expertise in data and text mining, and the effect that such technologies can have in the post-genomic era. Their knowledge, openness and dynamism created a perfect arena for discussion and analysis of the industry.
