Altum Exhibits at Bridging the Synapse II

CHANTILLY, VA. May 1, 2002 - Altum, Inc., headquartered in Chantilly, VA, will be exhibiting at and participating in Northern Virginia Technology Council's (NVTC) "Bridging the Synapse II - Strategies for Global Positioning for Life Sciences," to be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2002. This program is the second annual event of its kind and will be helping highlight our region's human, intellectual, and political capital. With the Biotech Industry Organization's BIO 2003, to be held in Washington, DC, NVTC's event is a perfect segue for showcasing some of the region's offerings.

As a provider of strategic information technology solutions for the life sciences industry, Altum, Inc., will be exhibiting applications built for the National Institutes of Health. In addition, Tina Lorenzetti, Altum's Strategic Business Developer, will be participating in the play portion of the event. The play is a parody involving two fictional biotech companies who are seeking financing in the $5-10M area from fictional international investment company, Global Life Sciences Investment Company.
