CEO Ken Fang presents as panelist at the Orrick Global Biosciences Forum 2001

CHANTILLY, VA - June 13, 2001 - Ken Fang, the CEO of Altum, Inc. presented as a panelist at the Orrick Global Biosciences Forum 2001 at the Bethesda Marriott on June 13, 2001. Mr. Fang elaborated on the growing need for bioscience companies to partner with information technology firms in order to gain and retain a competitive advantage. The Orrick Global Biosciences Forum provided a close-up view of the biosciences frontier as industry leaders weighed in on the industry's top issues. In addition to Mr. Fang, panelists from Duke University Medical Center, Intronn, Oxford Biosciences Partners, Glycotech, Toucan Capital, Immuno-Rx, Paradigm Genetics, and the Keck Graduate Institute weighed in on biotechnology research and developments to and strategic biotech partnerships. Keynote presenters included Congresswoman Connie Morella (R-MD) and Dr. Phillip Singerman, President of the Maryland Technology Development Corporation.
