NIH's FIC Signs on with Altum

RESTON, VA - August, 30, 2000 - Altum and the National Institutes of Health's John F. Fogarty International Center (FIC) partnered to deploy Altum's STARS system, a web based scientific coding and reporting application. This system is built using Altum's Science Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) and Query This products. These products have allowed FIC and our other clients at NIH to scientifically classify research projects, easily query their project data via Query This, and produce NIH budget reports.

FIC became Altum's 10th NIH STARS system client. Our other NIH STARS clients include: National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS), National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)
