Altum goes to the Digital Edge

Washington, D.C. September 7-8, 2002 - The NBC4 Digital Edge Expo, held at the Washington Convention Center, offered the public a first-hand look at the latest and greatest in the world of Technology. Although it was hard to miss the virtual NASCAR and the interactive robot, the real excitement was found on the desktops and laptops that dominated the floor.

At the Altum booth, people stopped to discover more about Altum, and were quite impressed with the products that Altum has developed for the life sciences. They could see first hand the high quality of service that distinguishes Altum as a leader in the field. Our ChemIDplus software, a chemical portal that can be found online at http://chem.sis.nlm.nih.gov/chemidplus , was especially exciting as it appeals to scientists of all ages. Some were interested in what the application could do to assist them in their own education and research, while others viewed the program with thoughts of how a similar application would boost productivity at their job.
