The National Institutes of Health selects Altum for an Enterprise Scientific Reporting System
Reston, VA. October 8, 2003 - Altum, Inc. today announced that the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, has selected Altum to develop an NIH-wide enterprise scientific reporting system. This system is based on Altum's proven grants reporting system, AltumGRS™, in use at ten Institutes, Centers, and Offices at the NIH. The system will be developed over the next three months and used to collect, consolidate, and report on scientific disease areas across the 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs). Accurate data collected from each of the ICs is critical for budgeting and reporting purposes. The system will save money by providing a streamlined business workflow and ensuring accuracy of the collected data.
"Altum is proud to be selected by the NIH to develop this system. It represents the culmination of six years of partnership with NIH in delivering solutions to streamline the grant tracking and reporting that is so essential to the NIH mission," stated Ken Fang, President and CEO of Altum, Inc.
