Altum helps Crossway Community automate applicant tracking

Reston, VA. November 5, 2003 - Altum, Inc., a leader in Enterprise grants tracking and reporting systems for the federal government, recently assisted Crossway Community with establishing an automated applicant tracking system. The new system is the first step in enabling Crossway to progress to a complete paperless applicant tracking database. Altum provided its services free of charge to Crossway because Altum believes in Crossway's mission of promoting community creativity and learning.

Crossway has been in existence for fifteen years serving single mothers over 18 years old that have at least one child under age 5. These single women, referred to as students of the program, agree to a two-year period of Crossway support during which time the student must attend school, work and participate in Crossway functions. Children of students are cared for and educated while their mothers work and attend school at the Crossway Community Montessori School. The Family Life School at Crossway teaches practical life skills to the students including budgeting, nutrition, job skills, etc. so when the students exit the program they should be prepared to succeed in providing a stable home to their children and themselves in the Real World.
