Altum Partners with Qlik to Bring World-Class Embedded Analytics to proposalCENTRAL™

Washington, D.C. – October 14, 2015 – Altum and Qlik®, a leader in visual analytics, today announced that the companies have joined forces to integrate the Qlik® Analytics Platform into proposalCENTRAL, Altum’s flagship cloud-based grants management offering. Qlik is being used by Altum’s customers – including grantmakers supporting biomedical research – to analyze their grants management data, make better decisions faster, and gain insights into their programs, processes, grants, and financials.

The Qlik Analytics Platform, which underpins Qlik’s next generation Qlik® Sense visual analytics product line, is designed specifically for developers – whether partners, OEMs, or in the enterprise – to build data-driven apps to power and differentiate their organization with the underlying performance of Qlik. By leveraging the Qlik Analytics Platform, Altum’s customers get Qlik’s market-leading visualization, analysis, reporting and dashboarding, and associative in-memory analytics engine embedded directly within the Altum’s solution. With a zero footprint cloud deployment, it natively takes full advantage of all the powerful performance management, intelligence, security, and governance that Altum delivers.

“We’re seeing tremendous growth in the marketplace for companies that want to leverage the Qlik Analytics Platform for their customers,” said Christof Majer, vice president of Partner Sales at Qlik. “Our integration with Altum responds to the growing demand from companies to empower their business with powerful and flexible visual analysis to immediately provide relevant information and insight into their business. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Altum and continuing to deliver world-class embedded analytics to Altum’s customers.”

“Altum is excited to offer this capability to our customers through our valued partner Qlik. Even just a few weeks after making it available, we are seeing an enormous level of excitement and positive responses. Altum had tremendous support from customers who voluntarily participated on a working group to refine the initial set of requirements and we can’t thank them enough for their valuable input. Information is being created at an exponential rate and our customers demand solutions that are responsive and scalable. Qlik is providing our customers with insight through real-time dashboards on workflow, financials, and outcomes. Qlik is the platform that will enable our customers to make better, and faster, decisions about their programs and the impact they’re making in the world,” said Steve Pinchotti, CEO of Altum.
